Bryan Wilkinson: Antron- Pretty cool...he reminds me of the early Stephen Lee alien android that evolved into Antron. Very Giger like, yet it IS Antron. It's cool to see such a favored character toy having a cool style applied to it. It's a nice amount of detailing also and a cool way to achieve a needed amount of detail. Make the brain out of clear plastic and have it so the same piece also makes up some faceted eyes, so light shining in the brain would come out the eyes or vice versa. Takara's used this effect on a lot of their later Transformers, and I think it'd be a cool feature on new aliens.

Bryan Wilkinson: Acroyear II- I wish we could just use the Takara design and beef it up into a 10 cm figure with more articulation. But failing that, I think this is a simple enough design to have a lot of room up for interpretation. It would be cool if he had a transformation, but one cooler then the original's. And again more articulation and 5mm replacement parts for the arms or hands.

Empress

Emperor

Giant Acroyear

Acroyear ll

Bryan Wilkinson: Emperor We ought to make this guy a bit more differentiated from Karza, but able to share parts with him still on the production line. I think Much could be done to improve the head especially.

Will Jones: I am sketching out ideas for the Emperor. I assume we aren't relying on he and Karza sharing body types for this series. I am picturing him as almost a walking circuit mapped onto some Egyptian or Eastern style headdress and outfit, perhaps Indian as well, American and/or Eastern. I have a thought On TT as well. Perhaps a clock imbedded in his chest, something real Deco looking. Kinda clunky but well defined.

Mike Bazzell: - Antron! I new this would happen ;-) I don't know which I like better Dave's or Willie's Antron Willy, the weapons on your Antron are very cool. He looks much more insect like also, but in a Mantis way. In that Mantis way, I like the way his head sit's back your Antron v2.0 .

Will's 21st Century Karza

Ken Lilly: Thinking about doing something else to try to boost sales on the Micronauts figs. Was thinking of doing a Baron Karza mini-bust in resin and see if we can get it to get some good numbers and use that as a selling point. Thoughts? I think the Karza would need to be NEW Karza, just to get people possibly interested in the line of figs that would supposedly come out next year. Once the design of the new Karza was worked out, we would just do a cool mini bust of him.

Will's Micro Death

Will's Nuvo Acro Eve

I posted pencils of a knave Acroyear. This was in light of Mike B's post about combining Mucha with my more obvious Golden influences. After reading Bry's post about the other female Acroyear I wasn't so sure it merited inking/cleaning up. I think the Acroyears need a queen. Perhaps they are a matriarchy, or secretly a hive-like society. I can just hear Ken Nordine narrating a Micronauts commercial and marveling at their origins. Well, as artists we all love pencils more than a finished product anyway. I have dubbed my NuvoAcro "Eve." Like Evil really not Adam and Eve. Cheesy maybe, but fun. I have posted a concept for Galactic Warrior. I see him as an astronaut type. I have included a rifle as well as a helmet as part of his gear. His center torso piece could easily be made removable.
