Released along side the other capsule Microman in 1975 came the heavy duty "Super Steel" versions- an all die-cast metal figure body with chrome head. There were 2 different types released, this one being the "dash wing" style: or the M21X series.

The "dash wing" refers to the wing pack, which springs to life with the flick of a switch so the figure can take flight, and snuggly fits into the 5mm hole in his back. Of course this micro-sized Rocketeer needs a nice helmet to protect his noggin, which was also included.

Some of the major differences of the Microman version to the Mego version include the torso being held together with a small screw, rather than the rivet in the Micronauts Space Glider. The ankles are also movable, and while the coloring of the figures bodies are similar, the chrome plating to the Microman's head is much richer in color than it's American cousin. Another drastic change again lies in the head sculpt. Mego used the head from the M14X Spy Magician series instead of the figures original head, which makes the Micronauts Space Glider helmet not fit very well.

From left to right are the heroic Super Steel Microman: M212 Kelly ( a major character in the Microman Manga), M213 Kim and M211 Ken.

Microman M211 box, thin and similar to a cigarette pack. Inside the window, you can see the clear capsule also included. The figure was packed inside the capsule with the accessories stuffed into a piece of foam next to it
