"Half Man Half Reptile From the Distant Planet of Sauria"

"Terrifying Half-Man, Half-Reptile from the Distant Planet of Sauria", this alien marauder's armored reptilian body is augmented with lethal weapons grafted into his forearms. One of the most bizarre Micronaut Aliens, his angular head features an exposed glowing brain. Both his classic weapons and new talons are interchangeable with other Micronauts." Released in 2003, the text from the file card says it all! These new Reptos were replicated from the old Mego Repto, and come in one "vintage" and three new color schemes: "vintage" green, blue, translucent purple and clear.

Palisades tapped into collector's minds to tweak this new Series 2 to perfection, from the color schemes to accessories. Along with new hands designed by Dave Waugh, Micronauts GGI artist Bryan Wilkinson added the design of the new devastating Saurian Mace weapon. Along with the weapons, the hands, cuffs and wings are all fully interchangeable with the rest of the vintage and repro line.

The new Repto's also sport two different brain colors: yellow for the green, blue and purple figures, and silver for the clear figure.

Another new feature included with the Palisades figures are fantastic "crack-n-peel" stickers (packaged to the left of the figure inside the bubble) showing off the fantastic artwork of artist Dave Dorman. The reverse of the card shows off the same artwork again, this time as part of a collectible file card. The Repto "microbyte" reads: "The Micronauts Aliens' extra-terrestrial origins were only briefly described on their 1970's packages, leaving their true allegiances and intentions to collector's imaginations."

These 4 different Reptos are all equally packed, 1 per case, inside a case of 16 figures. Lastly, an Alien specific figure stand was included in the package.

All in all, the Palisades retro series 2 for 2003 is a welcomed addition into the Microverse.
